Thank you Sareea!. A couple of ladies who are my coworkers wear mehndi for special occasions such as weddings. Otherwise there is nothing like mehndi in my own culture. I am ethnically Irish and Cornish (of Cornwall in England) so my culture could include Prince Charles raising his special sheep on his Cornwall farm. I don't think Princess Di wore mehndi at their wedding. I never married (but live with a boyfriend who is now in poor health). My three sisters have each had one wedding. There was one formal church wedding, one wedding in the restaurant where one sister worked, and one at a justice of the peace (without parents present). (That last wedding was something of a disaster after, of course, but it had its happy moments). I like traditions though even if they are someone else's and so unfamiliar. Best wishes for everything!
